RALLYE ELBA STORICO – TROFEO LOCMAN ITALY: THE 37th EDITION READY TO CARRY ON THE TRADITION

Scheduled for 26–27 September, the timeless island rally will feature three legs and will kick off the final stretch of both the European and Italian Historic Rally Championships. This edition will also welcome “classic cars” admitted under the new international regulations.
Aci Livorno Sport has introduced a few logistical innovations, while maintaining the spirit of an event that belongs to the entire island.
The popular “Graffiti” regularity rally is also confirmed – an unmissable tradition.
Entries open from 10 August to 10 September.

Livorno, 28 July 2025 – The organizational machine of Aci Livorno Sport is moving full speed ahead for the 37th Rallye Elba Storico – Trofeo Locman Italy, the traditional late-summer island event dedicated to historic rally cars, taking place on 26–27 September and structured over three legs.
With its always international atmosphere, the rally will serve as the eighth round out of ten in the FIA European Historic Rally Championship, and as the seventh (penultimate) round of the Italian Historic Rally Championship. This year, the rally will also include classic cars, in full compliance with the new FIA regulation that allows vehicles built between 1991 and 2000 to compete in historic events. A new boost for competition, spectacle, and technical diversity.
Also returning is the traditional “Graffiti” regularity rally, a staple event for regularity racing enthusiasts, who have always found fertile ground on the island for the growth and promotion of the discipline.
The first official moment of the event will be the opening of entries, scheduled for 10 August.

LOGISTICS: NEW FEATURES
This year, the rally presents some logistical updates, while maintaining the traditional two-day format and a route that respects the island-wide character of the event.
The main change is the relocation of Rally HQ to Portoferraio, once again hosted – like the “modern” rally – at Hotel Airone. Meanwhile, Capoliveri will remain the beating heart of the event, hosting the classic city stage, as well as the Service Park, overnight regroup between legs, and the final prize-giving ceremony.
Porto Azzurro will once again play a major role, hosting the ceremonial start, sporting and technical scrutineering, while Rio Marina will be part of the action by hosting a regroup on its seafront.

THE RALLY AS A NETWORKING OPPORTUNITY
These elements once again reflect Aci Livorno Sport’s commitment to making the rally an event that serves the entire Elban territory. The rally is not just a sporting event – it’s also a social occasion, a platform for promotion and economic development. This broader vision is increasingly shared by all local administrations, who recognize that networking leads to collective growth, by involving communities and stakeholders, and by strengthening the island’s identity through a unified strategy.
This choice also serves as a catalyst to promote local excellence and to extend the tourist season, with the rally ideally closing the season – just as the “modern” international rally opened it last spring – with the roar of engines.

A THRILLING ROUTE
The rally will include three legs and a total of ten special stages, covering 133.380 km of timed stages over a total of 366.96 km. Teams retiring during the opening Capoliveri stage will be eligible to restart the following day.
With full respect for the local community, the first leg will run through the western part of the island, and the second through the eastern, ensuring a competitive yet non-invasive experience for residents.
The 2024 overall winners were Angelo Lombardo and Roberto Consiglio from Sicily, driving a Porsche 911 RS.
