The route, with 10 special stages, seems designed for racing, but also to better enjoy the island to the competitors.

Entries are open from August 3 to September 4.

The XXVII Rallye Elba Storico-Trofeo Locman Italy, September 17 to 19, the thirteenth round of the European Historic Rally Championship and the final act of the Italian Championship, is ready to detail.

The classic, indispensable rendezvous proposed by ACI Livorno Sports - organizer and promoter of the event - is proceeding towards the date of execution, together with "Elba Graffiti", the sixth round of the FIA Trophy for Historic Regularity Rallies, a Continental Championship of "Average Regularity". In addition, there will be the opportunity to compete in the race of "Sport Regularity".

Meanwhile, you are approaching the opening date of registration: the first day will be Monday, August 3, the closing is scheduled for Friday, September 4th.

Strong of the broad consensus achieved since 2011, when the general logistics moved to Capoliveri, ACI Livorno Sports has designed the 2015 edition ready to consolidate the high quality offered in the past editions.

As usual it is an event that is designed for the entire island as its territory, which promotes the image, communication and also the economic impact with emotional tourism, one brought on the island by the event itself.

To give the most obvious example, last year thirteen nations were represented by crews and more than 8,000 units around the recorded movement of these various roles with the event last year.

The Rallye Elba is one of the most famous Italian races in the world, so every year ACI Livorno Sport works hard to give new stimuli and to promote participation of the drivers and the teams. Were thought again three days of challenges, with a total of 10 special stages, one less than in 2014. "Historic" paths, who have seen more than once exciting sporting feats.

Here are the details of the special stages:

Special Stage 1 - "BAGNAIA-CAVO" (KM. 18,350)

The SS 1 starts facing a stretch of road traveled only in the 80s in the direction Bagnaia-Nisportino, a path with altimetry variable, very challenging for the fund never the same and with twists and turns that do not grant pace, both downhill and uphill. Competitors pass through the village of Nisporto before finding another from "professionals" with twists and turns, first uphill and then downhill, alternating with slow strokes or suddenly faster. The view is breathtaking, being able to admire one of the most beautiful and scenic of all the Island of Elba and give and give emotions, to drivers and spectators. At the junction for Nisportino start instead SS 10. Many audience is expected in the "Reversal" in the locality of Rio Elba. This year it will be tackled downhill, but not everyone will be able to do in one shot. The test then continues towards Cavo on a challenging course not too fast but less hard than the rest of the test.
It is the test where the "handle" makes the difference.

Special Stage 2 - "CAPOLIVERI" (Km. 4,850)

Following the confirmed broad interest of the municipality and a large group of fans, and after the success of previous editions, the special stage town of Capoliveri which since 2010 gives life to pilots and spectators strong emotions, that only the roar of engines and the smell of gasoline can arouse, is replicated for the sixth consecutive year.
The start of the Stage will again place at the edge of the village center and continue along the perimeter of the south slope overlooking the Stella Gulf, then entering the old town, along its narrow streets, touching the main square, and forcing competitors to abrupt ups and downs and blind corners are not without pitfalls along the roadside where the slightest driving mistake can be an expensive cost for the final results.
The special test is 4.850 km far, so it seems relatively short, but extremely technique and with a high degree of difficulty; the urban section allows no respite for the crews because of the continuous succession of curves and to aggravate the fatigue, the variously bumpy fund or subject to changes in inclination, all in a night version to increase the degree of the event showmanship. the average speed is greatly reduced.

The three tests have in common the central part of the Road of Monte Perone, approximately 10 kilometers of intense emotions for those who will be on board of its racing car.
The route is very selective and complex: ups and downs, background that is constantly changing, number of very challenging turns down, there really is everything! The SS 3 and 5 start from the location of Crocetta, just above sea level, with 4 km. of a treacherous road for the narrow-track, not very tortuous except for a couple of corners really challenging.
The stages at the junction Lavacchio divide: the "Due Mari" take the Civillina road, challenging stretch with stretch and braking sharply, while the "Buonconsiglio-La Pila", and "Lavacchio-San Piero", there at that point has start instead pass through the center of Poggio. The audience is expected at the large bend of Publius, in the center of the country. The three tests now enter the "Monte Perone" road, rising up to 600 meters above sea level, in a very slow and treacherous stretch for the often dirty of foliage fund between twists and turns in a narrow-track in the middle of dense vegetation. Born from the union of two tests that have shaped the history of the Rallye Elba, those who ride the Hill "Monumento" and the "Hill Reciso", it is divided into several parts with altimetry and asphalt surfaces variables. The first part, which begins in "Filetto" and then move to the Provincial Road "Monumento", is a path in fast ascent to the summit of the hill itself, which brings out the engine power. Then, the road begins to descend on a good asphalt with curves in all supportive but challenging until "Lacona". Hence the test leaves the provincial and draws upon a stretch of path in the interior of the same village in which very narrow and challenging, given the constant changes of direction, with the asphalt that can "get dirty" slightly. From here you enter later on "Colle Reciso" Road, with a long climb before the brow that precedes the final downhill, in a mixed fast and twisty.

Special Stage 7 - "VOLTERRAIO-PARATA" (KM. 15,000)

The SS 7 combines the traces of two historical stages from which it takes its name, "Volterraio" and "Parata", this time in the opposite direction than in recent years. It is a very spectacular and challenging test for the narrow track and the many curves.
The first part is completely uphill and quite challenging for the drivers, who will be faced with numerous curves all different, with trajectories clean, to continue in one of the most fascinating of the whole rally, one that leads the cars in a real "canyon" stretch of road crossing two steep walls leaving some thrill even those who run in the race for many years now, before you go downhill towards Rio Elba in a descent, "tough" for brakes. Here ends the SS 9. The SS 7 instead continues skirting the village of Rio Elba, to the junction "Padreterno", and then rejoining the test of "Parata" already tackled during the end of SS1.

The Event will start on the evening of Thursday, September 17th: at 19:00 the first competitor will descend from the starting ramp in Piazza Matteotti in Capoliveri and will immediately compete with two special stages, the submentionned "Bagnaia-Cavo" and "Capoliveri". Then, competitors will enter the regroupment in the night starting at 22:15.

The second day of competition, Friday, September 18th, which will leave at 09:00, includes four stages, with the final day at 14:40, always in Capoliveri.

The next day, Saturday, September 19th the grand finale, with an additional four timed sections: the challenges will start at 08:30, and the checkered flag, always in Capoliveri, flown in from 15:35 hours.

The times of each end of the stage were studied again in order to live more and more competitors Elba and its beauty, so as to join in a concrete sport and tourism, taking advantage of the pleasant - and still long - September days.

In total the rally is 403.680 km far, of which 135.100 timed, namely the 33,47% of the entire distance. From these data we can see that the course is designed for racing, which is less, but longer, special stages, so the crews will be more time to spend with helmet, gloves and overalls.

The 2014 edition of the race was won by Riolo-Floris, with an Audi Quattro.
