THE XXXIII RALLYE ELBA STORICO - TROFEO LOCMAN ITALY IS READY: TRADITION CONTINUES
Confirmed the validity for the FIA European Championship for historic cars and for the Italian Championship, the race is on the calendar from 23 to 25 September, characterized by nine special stages of a route inspired by tradition as always, which largely mirrors that of the 2020 edition. Also on the program "sport regularity", "average regularity", essential appointments for lovers of the discipline, in addition to the A112 Abarth Trophy, the “Memory Fornaca” and the Michelin Historic Rally Cup. The registration period will be from 12 August to 11 September. We will race with a strong memory for Elio Niccolai.
Livorno, 30 July 2021 - The period of high summer is also the period of full work of Aci Livorno Sport for the Rallye Elba Storico-Trofeo Locman Italy, the unmissable event that ideally closes the summer season on the Island of Elba and which it will certainly inspire the “hot” phase of the sporting season.
The XXXIII edition of one of the symbolic competitions of rallies around the world, scheduled for 23 to 25 September, this year will have a particular importance this year more than ever. It will be that of the orphan of Elio Niccolai, the "father" of the race, who suddenly passed away on May 14th. Orphan of its founding pillar, as such it was of the ACI Livorno, but strong in the teachings it has given over the years, a priceless heritage that is now well in the hand, heart and mind of it has collected the inheritance. Aci Livorno and Aci Livorno Sport, in fact, will work from now on, both for this event and for the "modern" to keep alive the memory of this figure and above all by carrying on the commitment that Niccolai himself had made many and many years ago with sport and with the Island of Elba, to make an area of inestimable value even bigger with motorsport. The race confirmed the different validities which the world of rallies has long accustomed to: seventh round (out of nine) of the FIA European Championship (FIA HSRC) and also seventh and penultimate round of the “tricolor” race (CIRAS). On the program there are also competitions of "regularity sport" (VIII Regularity Sport) and "medium regularity" (XXXIII Elba Graffiti), the essential appointments for lovers of the discipline, in addition to the pleasure of having the A112 Abarth Trophy at the start, at Memory Fornaca and the Michelin Historic Rally Cup.

THE HEART OF THE RACE STILL IN CAPOLIVERI FOR THE TENTH CONSECUTIVE YEAR
On the strength of the broad consensus obtained from the first year, which was in 2011, when general logistics moved to Capoliveri, ACI Livorno Sport designed the 2021 edition ready to consolidate the high quality offered in past editions. Nothing changed compared to the previous edition with regard to the route, the broad consensus received in 2020, an edition that was scheduled despite the severe restrictions due to the health emergency, led to the decision to continue along the same line. Nothing changed as regards the logistics of the Rallye: the Headquarters of the event is confirmed, in Capoliveri, at the functional and exclusive structures of the Hotel Elba International, an exclusive location overlooking the Gulf of Porto Azzurro, where the Management will be organized. di Gara, the Secretariat and the Press Room. The Service Park area will also be organized in Porto Azzurro.
ACI Livorno Sport has again scheduled three days of challenges, with a total of 9 Special Stages (133,350 competitive kilometers, that is 30.04% of the entire distance which is 443.94). They are "historical" paths, which have always written about fascinating sporting feats
